Ring Announcer: The following contest is a World Heavyweight Title
defense set for one fall! Introducing first, the Heavyweight Champion of the World... weighing two-hundred fifty-two
pounds... Malibu Mike Donovan!
{cut to shot of the walkway}
"Malmusic" plays as the World
Champion steps out surrounded by cheerleaders. He has the World belt slung over his shoulder. As he walks by a
camera, he looks into it.
Malibu Mike Donovan: Grawl! I'm Malibu Mike Donovan! And -you're- not!
He then puts his hands behind his head
and swivels his hips, then continues his way to the ring.
{cut to shot of the ring}
Donovan enters the ring and hands the
belt to the time keeper. His music fades out and he waits for his opponent.
{commentary}
Keith Porter: Well,
here it is. The big main event.
Michael Richardson: A lot of people don't think Pepsi is ready for the World belt just yet... let alone even a shot at
it! He has a chance to prove himself tonight, but I don't think it could have come at a worse time. If Pepsi doesn't
put on a good show, or Donovan for that matter, rest assured that both of these athletes are capable of a lot more.
It's just tonight is a bad night for the CNWF Squared and I wouldn't expect anyone to be very impressive.
Geoffrey Smith: Let's just hope for the best.
{ring}
Ring Announcer: And the challenger from Denver, Colorado; weighing
two-hundred twenty-five pounds... Pepsi Cola Kid!
{cut to shot of the walkway}
The audience is cheering loudly as the
Pepsi Cola Kid makes his way to the ring with "Ahmish Paradise" blaring through the arena. He has his
trusty "Cube" of Pepsi in his hand and he begins running to the ring and the fans start cheering more.
{cut to shot of the ring}
Donovan slides out of the ring quickly
as Pepsi enters. He walks to the center and raises the "Cube" high into the air and the fans begin cheering
more. Pepsi then sets it down in a corner of the ring and waits for the match to begin.
{commentary}
Michael Richardson: There it is. It's that infamous Cube.
Keith Porter: That's
become a marquee piece here in the CNWF.
Geoffrey Smith: Marquee piece, huh?
Keith Porter: That's
what I said, isn't it?
Geoffrey Smith: Um... yeah. Anyway, this match looks to be getting under way.
{ring}
Donovan finally reenters the ring. The
referee calls for the timekeeper to ring the bell, which he does, so the match begins.

{ring}
Pepsi Cola is very agressive and runs
right at Donovan from the start and attempts a kick to the midsection. Donovan dodges out of the way pretty quick
and drops Pepsi to the canvas with a drop toe hold. Donovan then locks on a reverse chinlock and drives a knee
into the Kid's back to apply a lot of pain. The Kid yells, but he doesn't quit.
{commentary}
Keith Porter: Donovan taking control quickly as I'm sure we all knew he would.
Geoffery Smith: He sure is applying a lot of pressure to that hold.
Michael Richardson: It's no secret that the Kid is in trouble right now.
{ring}
The Kid reaches out and through a mirical
he is able to grasp a rope. This forces Donovan to release the hold in which he promptly kicks Pepsi in the head
a few times. Pepsi gets tired of that and grabs Donovan's foot and rolls out of the ring.
{cut to ringside shot}
Pepsi drags Donovan over to one of the
steel ring posts and slams his leg against it. The crowd cheers. Pepsi does it once more to a reeling Donovan,
then he grabs the other leg... and pulls him straight toward the post so he hits it groin first. Donovan is yelling
due to the pain, but Pepsi decides that's enough and reenters the ring.
{cut to shot of the ring}
Pepsi climbs to the top rope, then leaps
off with a flying elbow drop and goes for the cover. the problem is Donovan is so close to the ropes he gets his
leg on it before the count even starts.
{commentary}
Geoffery Smith: Pepsi actually putting up a defense of some sort tonight against Donovan. I get the
feeling he wants that World belt. Of course, that would be Pepsi's first belt in CNWF Squared history.
Michael Richardson: Pepsi sure has one task ahead of him if he expects to even think of beating Donovan.
A lot of guys hate him, but they can't stand up against him. It's easy to say you are better than he is... but
beating him is another thing. He still has never been pinned in a normal match in his CNWF carreer, did you know
that?
Keith Porter: As a matter of fact, yes. The only time he was ever pinned was on the top of a semi
truck trailer in a falls count anywhere match. Of course, that isn't exactly a regular match so you can't really
count it as a real pin. When it comes to in the ring matches, Donovan has never been pinned. I don't see Pepsi
doing it tonight.
{ring}
Pepsi whips Donovan to the ropes, but
Donovan comes off and knocks Pepsi to the canvas with a shoulderblock. Donovan then bounces slowly off the ropes
and executes a fistdrop on Pepsi's face. Then he executes a standing elbow drop, then goes for a cover. He only
gets a one count.
{commentary}
Michael Richardson: Donovan trying something new here. I'm not too sure just how effective this was.
Keith Porter: Pepsi did kick out showing he wants to win this match.
Geoffery Smith: These two so far have put on the best match of the night... even though it is still
a sub par match.
{ring}
Pepsi runs at Donovan once again, but
he catches Pepsi and locks him into an abdominal stretch near the ropes. He applies a lot of pressure and the referee
goes over to see if Pepsi wants to give up. Donovan cautiously reaches out with his right hand, then grabs the
rope for more leverage. Pepsi starts screaming, so the referee checks to see if Donovan was using the rope for
illegal leverage. Donovan has retracted his hand since then, but the referee sees the rope shaking and demands
that Donovan relinquish the hold. He throws Pepsi to the canvas, then starts yelling something at the referee.
Because of that, he ends up catching a drop kick to the back of the head, then a cover by Pepsi.
{commentary}
Michael Richardson: One... two... nothing. But hey! Pepsi sure is giving this a good shot! Also notice
that CNWF referees aren't as stupid as the ones from other organizations. They know when a wrestler has been cheating
after an abdominal stretch.
Keith Porter: In any other federation, Donvoan would have gotten away for that till he wanted to
let go of the hold. He's crafty.
Geoffery Smith: He definitely doesn't care much for the rules. In fact I think he likes breaking them
and getting away with it.
{ring}
Pepsi whips Donovan to the ropes now
and bends his head down for a back body drop. Donovan stops right there and Pepsi can't get him over... but he
is being set up for the Malibu Adjustment.
{commentary}
Keith Porter: Oh no! This is it for Pepsi! It's going to be a Malibu Adjustment Piledriver! Oh no!
He got it. This one's history, folks!
Michael Richardson: One... two... three. That's it. That's Pepsi's first ever pin in the CNWF Squared.
He was never pinned before tonight.
{ring}
Donovan's arm is raised in victory and
is given the World belt back by the time keeper. He leaves the ring.
{cut to shot of the walkway}
A husky man wearing a mask is standing
in the way of Malibu Mike Donovan as he is trying to make his way out of the arena.
{commentary}
Michael Richardson: That's the newcomer Tex Taylor standing in Donovan's way out of the arena! We've run
out of time so we can't show you what's going to happen! So long everyone!
